About that Drug Test

After my earlier post, can I just say, "What in the world?"

First of all, I never knew one could purchase such a thing as an at-home drug test. Call me naive, but I've never been in desperate need to know the levels of certain illegal substances in my urine. Second, why would anyone throw that out of a car window? What would make a person say, "Hey, I can't wait to stop driving to pee in this cup!"? Third, I wonder how the "sample" was kept steady. Would it have spilled as the driver swerved to miss a pothole? Isn't texting while driving enough? And how would one go about explaining the need for carpet shampoo to the auto detailer?

Comments, please! I love this.

Maybe they used one of these to make it in the cup...http://www.go-girl.com/ I actually went to a blog conference where this company sponsored a girl to go (to the conference NOT the bathroom...hahah) So, I echo your "WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?"

Eww... I'm not sure I want to think through the whole scenario of drug-testing in a moving vehicle. :} Good job on the race and PR, and great choice in friends that can find a Krispy Kreme! (I might actually be convinced to take up running if such rewards were offered.)

I'm guessing the offender who threw the drug test out the window would never have the carpet shampooed, ever. So probably a little spilled pee on the carpet is no big deal.

But what the world???

Ok, coming from some background in the social work field...my guess? Someone is checking their urine on their way to an appointment with a probation officer or SOMETHING, knowing that they will have to give a sample once they get there...Too lazy to have a little patience to wait for a public trash can. But extremely adventurous to maneuver driving while urinating. Let me rephrase that. Extremely idiotic. Pass the toilet paper, please.
