Helen insisted on wearing her gloves one day this week. She even took a nap with them on. I removed them, and she protested loudly. I replaced them, and she happily played until supper. She was a might upset with her drink until she figured out how to grip her cup just right. Now why won't she leave her socks on?
Owen helped Daddy wash his truck today. He was allowed to scrub the tires, but spent most of the time getting his rag and brush soapy and wet.

The Kiddly's are as cute as lil' ol buttons.
It's so weird that it is warm enough down there to wear summer clothes and it's almost Christmas.
I was thinking the same thing, Carrie...and why does Helen need gloves?
Amazing those little kiddo's are in shorts! I can't believe it is really that warm there!!!
This weather is just Alabama for you. One day we are freezing and have the heat on. The next day it is 60 and humid, and we have to turn the air conditioning back on. We still like to pretend that it's winter and wear sweaters, long sleeves and winter-y stuff. Last night we were sweating at the Christmas parade in town. I had to remove Helen's fleece shawl, she was so warm.
Isn't there some Southern girl class called "white gloves"? It teaches proper Southen manners and how to act like young ladies and pour tea...Can't you just see Helen in that class with her wooly white gloves???? Yeh right! Joanne
How fun that they have little fascinations with things like that. And I am sure that was the highlight of Owen's day!
